About Squid Shooter

Squid Shooter is a survival shooter with an elimination-game theme: masked opponents, stark arenas and rounds that end abruptly. Underneath the theme it is a straightforward third-person shooter — find cover, control your reload, and out-position the other players.

Rounds are short and restart quickly, which suits the format: you learn a map by dying on it a few times.

How to play Squid Shooter

Take cover before you take a shot; the arenas offer little forgiveness in the open.
Track your ammunition — the game does not hand out much.
Move between cover during the gaps, not during a firefight.
Survive to the end of the round rather than chasing eliminations.

Tips for Squid Shooter

The last player standing wins; a high elimination count on a lost round counts for nothing.
Let two opponents commit to each other before you pick a side.
Crouch behind low cover — the hitbox reduction is meaningful here.
Sound gives you away. Sprinting into an unknown room is the most common mistake.
