About Shell Shockers

Shell Shockers is a first-person shooter in which everybody is an egg, and that joke turns out to hide a genuinely sharp arena FPS. Eggs crack rather than bleed, hitboxes are wide and oval, and a single well-placed shot from the Crackshot rifle ends a life instantly — which makes positioning matter far more than raw reaction speed.

Modes cover Free For All, Teams, Captula the Spatula (capture the flag) and King of the Coop. Matches are short, servers are regional, and there is no install: the whole game is a WebGL build that starts from a browser tab. It has been running and updating since 2017, which is why the maps feel tuned rather than thrown together.

How to play Shell Shockers

Pick a class first. Soldier (assault rifle) is the safe all-rounder; Crackshot is the sniper; Whipper is the shotgun and wants corners.
Join Free For All to learn a map, then move to Teams once you know where the health spawns are.
Collect the egg cartons scattered around the map — they are your ammo, and running dry mid-fight is the most common way to die.
Aim for the top half of the egg. The hitbox is generous but headshots still multiply damage.

Tips for Shell Shockers

Strafe constantly. Egg models are wide and a stationary player is a free headshot.
The Crackshot one-shots at any range — if you hear one firing, break line of sight rather than trading.
Grenades are better as area denial than as kills; throw them into the doorway you are about to leave.
Play the map, not the kill feed. Most Shell Shockers deaths come from walking into an open courtyard that a sniper already holds.
