About 1v1 Battle

1v1 Battle is a build-and-shoot duelling game in the same family as 1v1.LOL: harvest materials, throw up ramps and walls, and out-aim your opponent from the high ground. It has its own weapon feel and its own maps, and it is the natural second stop if you want more of the format.

Modes cover one-on-one duels, box fights, team matches and a battle royale. Because the mechanics transfer, practice here makes you better at the game next door and the other way round.

How to play 1v1 Battle

Harvest wood, brick and steel by swinging your pickaxe at scenery.
Place a ramp and jump onto it to take height — the higher player wins most duels.
Switch to a weapon mid-build; the build and the shot are one motion.
Edit your own walls to cut a window rather than exposing yourself around cover.

Tips for 1v1 Battle

Wall first when you take damage, then decide what to do — the wall buys the half-second everything else needs.
Cone over your head as you ramp, or the defender simply builds above you.
Keep a material reserve; running dry mid-duel loses the fight before the shooting starts.
Box fights are the fastest way to practise editing.
